The cruise is over, but the fun is not! Below, you'll find the pre-trip fun and the Travelogue--or day-by-day account of the cruise.

Olivia Travel embarks on a seven day cruise that will host five cast members of The L Word who will be filming part of episode #11 of season 2 on board. We have roving reporters on the ship who will be updating us daily (or thereabouts) with photos and a travelogue. Follow the itinerary below to keep up with The L Word Cruise!

Even though to us it is The L Word Cruise, the cruise does actually have several themes. Olivia calls it the "Mayan Caribbean" cruise that will feature a film festival.

From Olivia:

"The L Word" cast members also kick off our inaugural film festival. Olivia's first lesbian film festival will feature the cast of "The L Word," Jane Lynch ("Best in Show"--and guest star in Season 2 of "The L Word"), Donna Deitch ("Desert Hearts") and Lesli Klainberg ("In the Company of Women"). We'll screen the hottest new lesbian films followed by discussions with our special guests, in addition to our usual stellar entertainment.

Pre-trip excitement! Posted Tuesday, October 26:

Saturday is the big day! We set sail on the Olivia cruise in which the L word will be filming part of episode 10. Cast members on board will be Kate Moennig, Leisha Hailey, Mia Kirshner, Erin Daniels, and Sarah Shahi. Of course, Ilene Chaiken will be on board, too Provincetown Report.

Last week, we received release forms from Olivia and the L word. If we wanted to be considered as extras, we needed to sign releases for both companies (we do so we did!). Also, they are going to have an extra have a speaking part. There was a separate release for that. You had to report your age, height, weight, hair color, and eye color. One of the releases--I think it was the general extras one--asked for t shirt size, so I'm hoping we get some L word T-shirts!
